"...the desire within him could no longer be contained, for laying before him, in all of her buxom glory, was the woman of his dreams. She gazed up at him, eyes full of desire and need. All at once, she realized just how it felt to truly be alive, right here, safe in his arms..."

Don't we all love scenes like that? The soap world (and yes, even the websoap world) is full of steamy scenes of two people sealing their love in the most intimate way possible. Below are some of the best love scenes in the world of online fiction today.

Jail House Rock: Grady and Jade (Coral Valley)

Grady and Jade have faced their share of opposition in the past, with breakups, issues galore and even a "death." This very scene takes place while Grady is incarcerated, for a crime he did not commit. However, the love between the two is evident as they manage (with a little help from Dave) to steal a moment for each other:

Grady argued the entire way to the meeting room. There was no way that he was about to step into that kind of awful situation with Susan again and he didn’t care who he had to argue with to see to it that it didn’t happen. Spotting Dave up ahead, Grady let out another long protest.

"Dave, come here. Dave, I need to talk to you!" Grady shouted down the hallway.

"Quiet down Denton," the guard grumbled at him.

"I’ll take care of this one," Dave explained stepping in to wave the guard away, "You can go back to work."

"You sure Chief?" the officer asked.

"I’m positive," Dave nodded again dismissing the man before him. Once Dave was sure the man was out of earshot, he addressed Grady once again, "You and I need to talk."

"Look Dave, I don’t know if you know what happened earlier, but if Susan is in there waiting with a bag of tricks…"

"This isn’t about Susan," Dave replied taking Grady’s handcuffs off and opening the door before them to reveal a darkened room, "Let’s just say you owe me huge."
With those words Dave urged Grady into the room closing the door behind him. Grady spun around wondering what had happened to the lights when suddenly he spotted a small candlelit area of the room. Taking a step forward he tried to adjust his eyes to the quick change, but still he was completely baffled by the scene before him. Moving in closer he noticed a small table had been set up in the corner of the room and beside the candle lay what appeared to be a romantic dinner for two.

"Did you really think I’d go home tonight without getting to see you," Jade’s voice rose from the darkness. Turning around Grady spotted Jade close to him, a soft smile spreading over her features.

"Jade," he gasped her name reaching out to pull her into his arms. Hugging her tightly, he felt as if the weight on his shoulders had been lifted. "Thank God you’re here. About before…"

"I know it was all Susan," Jade explained turning her sad eyes upward, "I know that you had nothing to do with her madness."

"I don’t know what she was trying to do, but…" Grady began desperately.

"But it didn’t work. Grady, I love you," Jade confessed tipping up on her toes to throw her arms around him, "and the thought of being without you tonight was driving me mad."

"But how did you get in here? How did you…" Grady blinked back at her.

"When Dave saw me kick Susan’s ass, he said he didn’t want me leaving the station until I was calm. Apparently he realized that the only thing that would calm me down other than my taking you home with me, was to be with you tonight. He helped me put all this together," she confessed with a sheepish grin, "and while I’ll admit it’s not exactly the most romantic of places to be, I was hoping that maybe together we could salvage this night."
"We can more than do that," Grady nodded in agreement sweeping her into his arms as he tried to lock in every second of their stolen moments together, "Jade, I love you so much."

"I love you too Grady and I swear to you that we’re going to find a way to win this one," Jade promised behind tear-filled eyes, "We’ll get you home soon and when we do, well nothing is ever going to stop us from being together."

"Jade, you just have to face the fact that I might not…" he began feeling her press her finger against his lips to silence him.

"Tonight we’re going to try to ignore the fact that we’re in a police station--that at any time someone could walk in and chew us out for this. Tonight, we’re just going to enjoy one another’s company and be thankful that Dave is on our side," Jade suggested desperately.

"Tonight, there’s nothing I could want more," Grady confessed ready to share this evening with the woman he loved all the while knowing that if Cameron had his way, the time Grady and Jade would spend together in the future would be far and few. He just prayed that somehow, someway someone would be able to help him clear his name before he lost his freedom forever.

Nothin' but Love: Todd and Hannah (Scripts & Scruples)

They met five years when their siblings got married. They got reacquainted last Spring when his mother had a stroke. Todd Malone and Hannah Richards had an instant bond, but it wasn't until four years later that they met for the second time and began to realize they were meant for each other.

They spent last summer getting to know each other. Todd took a job in New York and Hannah was thrilled. When their baby nephew was kidnapped, they traveled around the world together to find him. The sexual tension was building as was their fear of saying the "L" word. But one fateful night in mid-November, everything came together.
Todd was spending his last night in the hotel he was living in while looking for an apartment. He invited Hannah over to celebrate. As they began to talk, Todd realized that this was the night. He finally admitted his love for Hannah as they began to get closer and closer to each other. She immediately told him she loved him two and the two of them passionately kissed. He told her he wanted to make all her dreams come true, and the two of them finally gave into the temptation they had felt for so long.

Setting: Todd’s Hotel Room - Hannah has just arrived
Hannah: I can’t believe after all this time you’re finally getting your own apartment.
Todd: Yep. After tonight, I hope to not see the inside of a hotel again for a long time.
Hannah: Ah, aren’t you gonna miss this place?
Todd: NO! Absolutely not. I want to have my own place with my own bed, my own kitchen, my own furniture. And everything else that I’ll eventually buy when I have enough money.
Hannah: Your own kitchen? I didn’t realize you cooked.
Todd: Well, you could call it that. I can make enough things to sustain myself.
Hannah: Let me guess, Raman Noodles?
Todd: Hey, you really HAVE gotten to know me, haven’t you?
Hannah: Typical guy. That’s what you are.
Todd: I hope you think of me more highly than just being a typical guy.
Hannah: You know I do.
Todd: OK. Just checking.
Hannah: I’ve had so many bad relationships and false starts, Todd. I’m trying to forget about all that, and not repeat the mistakes I’ve made before.
Todd: What kinds of mistakes?
Hannah: Well, the biggest mistake was dating the wrong type of guys.
Todd: I think you’ve fixed that now.
Hannah: Oh yeah, Mr. Modest. But you’re right. You’re very special, Todd. A special guy. Special to me.
Todd: Hannah, I have a confession to make.
Hannah: Oh no. I knew things were too good to be true.
Todd: No, it’s not bad. It’s about when we first met. Do you remember what I said to you?
Hannah: Of course. You walked up to me, in that black suit and blue shiny tie, and said, "Nice smice".
Todd: You remembered!
Hannah: You think I’d forget that?
Todd: (takes a deep breath) My confession sort of relates to that first meeting. When I first saw you, I think I…. fell in love with you right then an there.
Hannah: Todd…
Todd: I know that was years ago. And I didn’t realize it at the time. But when I saw you back in the Spring in Erie, I got that same feeling all over again. In fact, I get it every time you walk into a room.
Hannah: What are you saying?
Todd: What I’m saying, in a not to eloquent way, is that I love you Hannah. More than I can say.
Hannah: Oh Todd. I love you too.
Todd: Really?
Hannah: You didn’t know? Of course I do.
Todd: You make every day seem just a little bit better, Hannah.
Hannah: (starts to cry) I am so happy to hear you say this. It’s like a dream come true.
Todd: You are a dream, Hannah. And I hope we can make all our dreams come true. Starting tonight.
(Todd kisses Hannah)
Hannah: Make love to me, Todd.
Todd: I’ve been dying too.

My Everything: Chad and Abby (Divisions)

Hallow Hills
Abby knocked on the front door of Hallow Hills, she knew Doug and Adel were gone for the night, Kip was back in Florida. She could only hope that Laura and Jeff had left Chad alone.

"I’m coming!" Chad called from inside.

Abby danced from the cold, and cursed the Colorado weather as she waited.

Chad opened the door, "Abby, what are you doing here?"

Abby took a moment before speaking, "Do you love me?"

Chad grew the biggest smile on his face, "Yes, I do."

Abby threw her arms around him and kissed him.

Chad pulled her into the house as he kissed her back before pulling away, "So you know I love you, but aren’t wemissing a piece of the puzzle."

"I love you to Chad." She blushed as he pulled her cap off her head.

He smiled and pulled her to him, kissing her softly, as he undid her jacket.

The loneliness of nights alone
The search for strength to carry on
My ev’ry hope had seemed to die
My eyes had no more tears to cry
Then, like the sunshine from up above
You surrounded me with your endless love
And all the things I couldn’t see
Are now so clear to me

Chad continued to kiss Abby as they leaned against the door of his bed room. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath, "Are you sure about all of this."

"Yeah I am." She lifted her left hand and removed Ethan’s ring, "More then I have ever been about anything in my life."

"Good." Chad kissed her again as she pushed the ring into her pocket.

You are my ev’rything
Nothing your love won’t bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I’ve ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Ev’ry night, I pray on bended knee
That you will always be
My ev’rything

Chad opened the door, pulling Abby into the room with him. He gently closed it behind him as he led her to the bed.
Abby sat on the bed, reaching up and unbuttoning Chad’s cotton shirt.

Now, all my hopes and all my dreams
Are suddenly reality
You’ve opened up my heart to feel
A kind of love that’s truly real
A guiding light that will never fade
There’s not a thing in life that I would ever trade
For the love you give and won’t let go
I hope you’ll always know

Chad removed his shirt and tossed it into the darkeness, before kissing Abby again and leaning forward, pushing her back onto the bed.

Abby pushed herself up further on the bed, steadying herself as Chad’s body covered hers.

You are my ev’rything
Nothing your love won’t bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I’ve ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Ev’ry night, I pray on bended knee
That you will always be
My ev’rything

Chad ran his hands down the side of her body before his fingers found the seam of her t-shirt, where he could feel her warm skin as he pulled the fabric up and over her lace bra.

Oh, oh, you’re the breath of life in me
The only one that sets me free
And you have made my soul complete
For all time
For all time

Chad sat up, taking Abby with him as he removed her top, and bra.

Abby kissed Chad’s neck, and nibbled on his ear. Hungry for him.

You are my ev’rything
Nothing your love won’t bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I’ve ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Ev’ry night, I pray on bended knee
That you will always be
My ev’rything

Chad got off the bed and looked down at Abby, before picking her up in his arms, placing her in the middle of the bed.

You are my ev’rything
Nothing your love won’t bring
My life is yours alone
The only love I’ve ever known
Your spirit pulls me through
When nothing else will do
Ev’ry night, I pray down on bended knee
That you will always be
My ev’rything
Oh, my everything
